The project FARMER studies European best practices for recruiting and retaining students in the agricultural sector.
The project works on developing teachers’ work in supporting students’ cross-cutting skills within the scope of sustainability and future needs and understanding how to use pedagogical and didactic methods to increase the attractiveness of vocational education and training in the agricultural sector.

FARMER maps the needed skills of the future farmer and trains teachers and educators skills to implement a green curriculum and motivate students to adopt a smart and sustainable mindset.

the partnership
Ten organisations from eight European countries working together to strengthen key competencies of teachers and educators of vocational education and training in the agricultural sector.
Fostering generational renewal in agriculture means empowering young farmers with future-oriented training courses stimulating them to create a more sustainable tomorrow.
