Asmildkloster Agriculture College

Viborg, Denmark

Asmildkloster Agriculture College is a vocational education and training school at a secondary level. The school was established in 1908 and is situated in Viborg, Central Denmark. Asmildkloster is one of the leading schools in Denmark when it comes to developing new pedagogical and didactic areas and offers both initial and continuing VET educational programmes. It has approximately 250 full-time students, coming from all parts of Denmark, and 60 employees.

AS.FOR.IN.

Avellino, Italy

AS.FOR.IN. (Associazione per la formazione e l’inserimento lavorativo nelle piccole e medie imprese) is a no-profit organisation active in Irpina, the Avellino province (Campania Region, Italy). AS.FOR.IN promotes initiatives, projects, and activities toward empowering and developing rural areas and its population, driven by an inclusive and cooperative mindset. It works at regional, national, and European levels in partnership with public authorities, schools, universities, companies, research centres, training bodies, trade associations, and youth organisations.

Agricultural Education and Training Service

Catalonia, Spain

The Agricultural Education and Training Service (SFA) is the section of the Department of Climate Action, Food and Agricultural Agenda (DACC) of the Catalan Government, responsible of providing and executing agricultural education and training programs to young students and professional farmers. To do so, SFA manages and coordinates a network of 14 agricultural vocational education and training schools (agro-VET) placed in different locations across Catalonia (NE Spain) with a total of 689 regular students and 6166 attendees to lifelong training activities, yearly.

Kogeka – Sint Jozef – Agro- en biotechnologie

Geel, Belgium

The department Agro en biotechnologie is part of the KOGEKA-group campus Sint-Jozef. Sint-Jozef is a technical school with courses for builders, woodworkers, electricians, painters, mechanics, cooks, butchers, bakers etc. In our department, Agro en Biotechnologie we have 560 students that follow a course for Biotechnical Science, Animal care or Agriculture. A total of 120 students between 14 and 20 years old follow agriculture at technical or professional level. We will celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2022.

University of Novi Sad

Novi Sad, Serbia

The University of Novi Sad (UNS) was founded in 1960. It is the only state university in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, comprising 14 faculties and 2 research & developmental institutes. There are more than 50,000 students, 5,000 teaching and non-teaching staff, as well 300 study programmes at all three academic cycles. University of Novi Sad is rather active in the international collaboration field participating in both educational and research projects (ERASMUS +, TEMPUS, HORIZON 2020, FP7, EUREKA, COST, IPA, etc.).

In our school we are providing lessons in 3 main thematics : agriculture / food processing / landscape management We have about 400 students, aged from 15 to 20 years old. We have our own farm, to produce ducks and limousine cows.

Lapland University of Applied Sciences

Rovaniemi, Finland

Lapland University of Applied Sciences (LUAS)provides tertiary level education and related applied research at 2 schools. School of Arctic Resources and economy offers barchelor degree programmes f.ex. in Agrology and in Forestry. LUAS has cooperation with the related vocational institutes both in education and applied research. LUAS is the northernmost applied sciences university in EU. Annual turnover of LUAS is more than 40 Meuros including turnover of about 8 Meur from RDI activities. Total number of employees is about 500 and students about 5500. LUAS has a long experience in operational and financial management of both national (incl. structural funds) and international projects (Horizon, CBC, Interreg Nord, Interreg Europe, NPA, ERASMUS+ etc.).

Secondary Vocational School “Stevan Petrović-Brile”

Ruma, Serbia

The school was founded in 1948 and today has 5 different educational profiles: agricultural and veterinary technician, baker, butcher, and last two years dental nurse technician. The educational activity is carried out through vegetable and animal husbandry and technology for processing and producing bread and pastries. In addition, the school has an orchard. Students can check all the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the classes through practical lessons on those properties.

Secondary School of Agriculture and Forestry

Vinkovci, Croatia

The school is Regional centre of competence and eco-school, educating students aged 15 – 19, including students with disabilities and adults, in different fields – agrotechnics, plant protection, forestry, floriculture, bread-making, butchery, farming, and agriculture machinery. It has its own arable land and demonstrative garden, greenhouses, orchard, and workshops, producing various agricultural products within the students’ cooperative “Agro”.
